Friendship.

You could never have a friend
that is trusted and true
The one that you could turn to
When you're feeling blue

You have a friend in me
Yes it’s true
You don’t want to say much
you think I might expose you

A friend that understands

What you’re going through

I feel safe poem

Whenever I am lonely my friends will always be with me.

Whenever I am scared my God will be there .

Whenever I am mad I would

think of my dad.

Whenever I am sick the Lord will heal me.

Whenever I am lost my

family will find me.

The one eye mother

There  once a single mother who gave birth to a baby boy name Simi and he was a beautiful cute baby boy. But his mother was a one eyed woman. When Simi was 9 years old ,he didn’t want his mother to go with him at school , because his friends makes fun of him saying”Eww! Simi ,your mother is a one eyed”. He hated his mother very much and sometimes  he tells himself “why does she has to be my mother I wish she disappears”. 

When he was an adult he had a family,wife, kids and he even bought a new  house,he didn’t want his mother to live with him. One day his mother knocked on the door to visit him and when his kid’s saw her they screamed and yelled. When Simi came up  he said sad things to his mother,he said “What are you doing here, how dare you scare my kids just go away we don’t want to see you”. When his wife asked “who is that” and he said “No it’s nobody”.His mother went home and cried so hard.

While she was crying she wrote a letter to Simi.  The next day she PASSED away. Simi heard a knock on the door and when he opened it ,it was a old woman standing at the door and she said “are you Simi?" he said yes and she said “I’m so sorry but your mother passed away",she gave him the address.

The next day  he went to his mother’s house and he found a letter saying “To my dear son ,I never had a chance to say that I love you very very much and that I’m sorry for scaring your kids and for embarrassing you  in front of your friends,but the reason I lost my eye is that when you were born I couldn’t stand looking at you because you were a one eye baby and I loved you so much I gave you my right  eye, buts it was okay for me because I would rather be make fun of then me seeing you embarrassed because of your eye. Even if you hate me I will still love you”. Love mother.

I feel safe

The reason I chose this image is that I feel safe.  I feel safe around my family and my friends.  Every time I get into trouble, they will always be by my side.  Whenever I feel lost and lonely, they will always find me and be with me.

What I sound like?

We are learning to read fluently .We spent time looking at phrasing-how we say words together. Having expression in our voices is important to!

Listen to audio recording. We did this to practice fluency and to hear ourselves speak .

I think I sounded pretty good. My group were also amazing at reading and doing their voices to match their characters. I’m good at matching my voice with other characters and I’m amazing  at reading and also  doing expressions. I need to work on taking notice of the question marks and sound like asking questions.

Fun school holiday

Fun school holiday. Hey, let me tell you about my fun school holiday and how you can make yours even better. First my mum made a duty list for me and my older brother. When we wake up we have to do our own chore but we decided to work together so we can finish our chore fast. Finally our chores are done and it’s time for a little bit of cooking without our parents. First we start by putting in the things that looks delicious to us and after our cooking, we clean up the mess that we did.

 The next thing we could do is calling up our friends and tell them to meet us at the park. And we could play all the games that we love. And we could finally have time to hang out with our friends. And when we got home I asked my parents if they could stay a little bit , they said sure. We played music and done some challenge dance and it was so fun.

 And finally spending some time with my whole family and Gauss were we went?We went to rainbows end and we had so much fun. My favourite ride was the force fear and when I went to that ride I felt my heart going up and felt that I was about to vomit but it was still my favourite ride. That was my also favourite school holiday and I even enjoyed it thanks to God.

Teachers Striking

This Wednesday all the New Zealand teachers are going on strike. One reason why they are going on strike is they need more time to teach the students they have in their classes. Because they spend their time doing the student’s assessment but doesn't have time to teach. These things are very good but it’s hard for one teacher with thirty student's. The second thing that the teachers want is more resources for additional needs to help the students that need help.

 Because when the students doesn't have enough resources than what are we gonna do to help them?.   And the school’s need more teachers because one teacher can’t take care of thirty student’s. The last thing that the teachers want is to have better pay because when they get home they still have to do work and it's really hard for them  because they have to do assessment about every student's in their class.

 Also to because they do two things at a time because they do teach and they write their reports to give to the students parents. So that's all of the reasons why all the teachers in New Zealand are on strike. Also Daliz and I agree with the teachers because they have good reasons why. We wish all of the teachers good luck.

Ned's kindness adventure

Ned's kindness adventure.

Hi,let me tell you about Ned's kindness adventure.  There's a guy name Cosmo and his friend  Ned.  Cosmo has been travelling with NedCosmo has been here for one week and he's liking it here ,he’s from United states.He travelled with Ned to Kenya and they said ,that people there are very very kind .

Cosmo was singing a cool song and when he was singing he was doing some pretty cool magic tricks.And I really liked it ,I was smiling the whole time when he was doing funny things.He talked about his trip with Ned to Kenya.I feel so sad when he told us that the people in Kenya and also the children were drinking dirty water.

Cosmo told us that when they go to school they wake up at 5:30am and return at 5:30pm ,and I thought it’s really tiring waking up early and coming home late.And their classrooms are very small,they have to stand on each other's desk if they go somewhere.  I will try my best helping those children and families.
