Immersion Assemply

This morning was the the first day of term 2. We had our immersion assembly
about “ Latitude” it means how far we are from north to south, and we also talked
about “Longitude” which is from east to west. We watched each team do their
performance and it was amazing.

Team 1's performance was very amusing and it was very interesting about the
bees trying to survive and dying because of colony, collapse, disorder ( CCD). The
S.O.F.A crew are trying their best to help the bees. Team 1 are deciding to learn
for how they are going to help the bees.

I like team 4’s performance because it was very  funny. My favourite part
in their performance was when Mrs. Sio tried to read the sky like in the movie
“Moana” and she lead them to the restaurant called the “Great tong’’ and she
came out with fried chicken and it was very comic because we thought that she
found a way to school, but she was hungry.

Our team 5’s performance was very entertaining and it was about

Mrs. Tapuke travelling around the world just by pushing the bottom on the
Islands/countries ( Using a bug slapper). She went to Europe which lead her to
France which is the capital of Europe and she met Mrs. Stone. Then she went to
Africa and met Mrs. Ilaoa and patted the tiger. Next she went to Asia and led her
to the wall of China.

Yeah, that's what I found out and what I enjoyed at our immersion Assembly this
morning, and Our korero for this term is…….

“ I like your latitude”.

Creepy woods quick write

Walking between trees, hearing strange noises,  I can feel my body shiver, like its gonna shatter. I saw a strange shadow like it was a little girl. I was scared to death I felt like someone is strangling me.

TASK DESCRIPTION: Today my literacy class, we did our quick writing about the creepy wood/forest. Without using the letter "U". I decided to write about something scary this is how far I got. 

Coral and battlefield. ( quick writing)

 Looking in the sea wanting to swim. I just want to see what if feels like living in the sea. Imagining seeing lots and bright fishes.Green, red, yellow and brown, Striped fish, small and big, swimming everywhere searching for food.

Tank's exploding, bombs falling from the sky. Soldiers marching, Stay alert and stay alive they to say. Preparing for war like a battlefield. Shotting and planning to win victory. 

TASK DESCRIPTION:Today in my literacy class, writing, we wrote about two picture's at the top, that is a coral and battlefield. Writing a story or a poem or even a small paragraph is a little complicated because we are not allow to use a "U". This is how far I got.

Waiting as the sun sinks and  Feeling the wind in my hair. Dreaming and sleeping as my next chapter begins. 

TASK DESCRIPTION: Today in my literacy class writing, we did our quick writing again without using"I". This is how far I got, oh and we wrote about the sunset.

Vacation

Have you ever thought of going on a vacation or taking a break? Ahh, sitting in the sun without worrying about anything, calming my mind feeling the peace slowly flowing in my brain. 

The first reason why is because I want to rest my brain from school.  If I keep on going to school without taking a break my brain will be tired. It would be nice to go on a vacation just to relax my mind a little bit. Imagine me, I am sitting in a spa and  having a message. My brain will be living its dream.

The second reason is that it would be a good way to chillax with my family. My parents will also need a break like my dad, from work and my mom from looking after me and my little sibling's. Renting a hotel room with ice-cream on the table and enjoying our time as a family. Oh gosh, I just can't wait to go on a vacation.

The third and last reason is that going on vacation also helps you calm down from work or from school. Going on a vacation helps you relax and of course it'll  help you relax your body. If you work too much your body will be unhealthy and your brain will also get tired and get full of things that will make you stress out. Taking a vacation is always the best idea to relax your body and clams you down.

Yeah, that will be three reasons why I would go on a vacation and I think that you should too.
